Why should couples use Take Time To Travel and Tour for their honeymoon?

Honeymoon planning is a very special time for the couple. Most other wedding plans are at least partially planned to please others. The honeymoon is a special time just for just the two of you. We are familiar with the many honeymoon options - through personal travel experience, ongoing professional education, and customer feedback. We can cut through the clutter of choices for each couple by taking the time to talk with them, to find out what they want in a honeymoon, be it romantic, tropical, cultural, historical or ecological-environmental. We are an impartial, independent source recommending options according to the couple's needs. We know the difference between "cheap" and "value." We work with budgets to give each couple the most possible value within their budget restraints. We take one important item off their list by handling all the details.
Above all, we give personalized service to every client.

How do cruise and land resort honeymoons differ?

    Cruises:
  • See many different destinations while unpacking only once
  • Semi-all-inclusive, meals and entertainment while on board
  • Have a general idea of costs prior to travel
  • Land:

  • See one destination or resort in depth
  • Some destinations have all-inclusive resorts as well as EP or standard hotels
  • On European tours with several cities, transportation time between destinations is a factor

Can a couple be married at their honeymoon destination?

Of course, while most couples still prefer a ceremony at home many people choose to be married in conjunction with their honeymoon. It is especially popular with a second marriage for either the bride or groom. They can even bring all their loved ones along to enjoy the wedding if they choose. Arrangements can be made for the entire wedding party if necessary.
The most popular places to be married are on cruises, Jamaica, US Virgin Islands and Hawaii. Most resorts have wedding packages available which can be as simple or elaborate as the couple wants. We work with the couple to determine the wedding experience they want and in turn work with the wedding coordinators to make certain the wedding goes exactly as planned.

Should I get trip insurance?

In many cases, yes. Trip insurance is inexpensive, convenient, and in the case of family emergency, illness, or (as is a risk in summertime tropical destinations) severe weather, it can really save the day.

We will be happy to help you with your insurance purchase, or you can get it online from CSA Travel.
